We are located in Bridgeport California, we are a 1 hour drive  North of Mammoth and 2 hour drive from south of Lake Tahoe.

We recommend bringing your own gear for comfort and understanding of your own equipment. However, we have demos available at our location for use and partner with local shops to connect you with the best rental equipment. All interest in using our gear or rentals must be shared with our team in advance, so we can best accommodate your needs.

The Sweetwater Mountains are home to terrain that is compatible with all ability levels. Whether you have been skiing or riding for a few years, or you are an expert, our guide team will make the day a memorable experience for everyone in the helicopter.

You can expect a day in the heli to include 6-8 runs, weather allowing.

Included with your trip, we will be providing a gourmet mountain lunch that is catered by a family owned local partner. All lunches will typically be eaten in the field.

Prior to your arrival, you will receive a Pre-Trip email including a list of all items our team feels you should bring with you to maximize your experience with us.

Please plan to spend your entire day with us. Prepare to arrive in the morning and conclude the same day in the late afternoon. Details on exact times and locations will be shared with you prior to your arrival in a “Pre-Trip” email.

We at Sweetwater Heli understand how exciting but anxious it can feel to go Heliskiing/Boarding for the first time. That is why prior to arrival, we will send all information needed and answer any questions you may have. Once arriving at our location, our team will provide each member with comprehensive training on Avalanche safety, use of Avalanche safety gear, Companion Rescue, and Helicopter training.

Heli-skiing, like many activities, is a high risk sport. We are committed to the highest level of safety and mitigation of risks that are present in the backcountry. With a team of highly experienced guides, our #1 goal each day is to provide the safest experience possible to all of our guests.
